TPC AT THE CANYONS

LIVE THE PGA TOUR EXPERIENCE

THE CANYONS IS JUST GOOD GOLF

There are a number of great golf courses in Las Vegas. One, however, is unique and allows the general public to live the PGA Tour experience every day of the year. Open since Nov. 1, 1996, The Tournament Players Club at The Canyons is the perfect opportunity to play where you’ve seen greats like Phil Mickleson, John Daly, Padraig Harrington and Fred Couples play.

Designed by Raymond Floyd, Bobby Weed and PGA Tour Design Services, this visually dramatic course is golf like you’ve never experienced before. The sprawling 250-acre facility features some of the greenest grass in the desert, canyons 50-feet deep, stadium mounding on the 18th green as high as the Stratosphere Hotel, and an unforgettable view of Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip.

There are 24 TPC facilities across the United States. Each spectacular in its own way, but all have one similarity. Every TPC facility was designed for the pros, by the pros, incorporating excellent spectator viewing. In Las Vegas, everything’s about luck and Vegas couldn’t be any luckier than to have TPC at The Canyons available for not only Tour professionals, but for average golfers, looking to walk in their footsteps.

“If you love golf,” says Joe Massanova, Marketing Director for the course, “this experience is something you just can’t replace.”

Not only can you play like a pro (or, at least, play where pros have played), you can be treated like one. The staff at TPC at The Canyons is second to none. From the moment you step out of your car, you feel like Vijay Singh, on his way to winning his fifth championship of the year. The knowledgeable staff in the Pro Shop is available to help you choose from a large selection of clothing items and brand name merchandise. A snack bar on the 10th tee and The Clubhouse Grille offer you an opportunity to grab a drink and a bite to eat after playing.

“You just don’t get tired of playing The Canyons,” according to Massanova. “It can be anytime, any day, and still offer a new experience.”

TPC at The Canyons has hosted a Champions Tour Event from 1997–1999 and has co-hosted the Las Vegas Invitational from 2001–2005. Additionally, The Canyons is set to host a new PGA event called the Bard Capital Challenge, December 1–4, 2005. The Canyons welcomes professionals, players and spectators for each event.

“It’s simple,” declares Massanova. “The Canyons is just good golf.
