Broadmoor
Located at the gateway to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs,
the legendary Broadmoor offers European elegance and Western hospitality
just as it has for the past 85 years.
With over 3,000 acres, award-winning spa, tennis, and a wide variety
of fine restaurants, The Broadmoor is in every way an American classic.
In 2002, a three-phase $124million renovation and reconstruction
project was completed, designed to position The Broadmoor well into
the 21st Century and to keep it in the forefront with world class
amenities and service.
The BROADMOOR's three championship golf courses are set against
the spectacular backdrop of Cheyenne Mountain and weave their way
through white pine, Douglas fir, blue spruce, maple and scrub oak.
Each course has tee markers of varying lengths, allowing for all
levels of play.
The East Course has hosted professional and amateur events dating
back to 1921. The East boasts the widest fairways at The Broadmoor
to accompany the stunning views and undulating greens. The natural
beauty surrounding the course combined with the immaculate condition
the course is kept to make one of the best in the world!
The West Course opened in 1965 to compliment the East Course. The
West is a traditional course that stretches to over 7,300 yards
with narrow fairways and challenging greens. It also offers beautiful
views that rival those in the high country to accompany a tremendous
golf course.
The Mountain Course, sometimes referred to as The South Course
was designed by Ed Seay of the Arnold Palmer Design Group. It is
a scenic 3-mile drive to the gates of The Mountain Course, not to
mention 500 feet higher! The Mountain Course's 9-holes lives up
to it's billing with tremendous elevation swings from tee to green
in addition to some of the best views the front range offers!
