
Andrew Pepper - CEO and President
Andy began his career in the publishing arena in 1971 with Brentwood
Publishers and Creative Age Publishing. He spent 5 years meeting
and negotiating high level transactions with fortune 500 companies.
In 1976, he formed a publishing firm and co/founded The Directory
of Incentive Travel International (DITI), along with three medical
journals. In 1981, DITI was sold to Harcourt Brace. Harcourt changed
the name of the journal to Corporate Meetings and Incentives (CMI
magazine), one of the best known and most respected journals in
the field today.
From 1982 to 1999, Andy was founder and President of Pepper &
Associates, a high level executive search firm in Los Angeles, California.
During those 18 years, Andy and his colleagues helped place numerous
executives in both the hospitality and aerospace industries. An
avid golfer, Andy closed many of his transactions on the golf course.
In 2000, Andy left the executive search field and was instrumental
in creating Corporate Golf Planner (CGP), a subsidiary of Pinnacle
Marketing Group, Inc. He and his colleagues have negotiated many
long term relationships with resorts, associations, corporations
and special interest groups over the past 7 years.
Gary Wilkos - Executive Vice President
Gary Wilkos is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the hotel school.
Gary attended the University on a full athletic scholarship in which
he was the starting quarterback and All-American college football
player.
Upon graduation Gary was employed by The Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado
Springs, CO. He demonstrated above and beyond that he was capable
of achieving senior level access within the sales/convention and
marketing departments. He spent 5 years at the prestigious Broadmoor
which has earned the 5 star 5 diamond award since its' inception.
In 1997 Gary was contacted by The Desert Inn Hotel in Las Vegas.
He was offered the position to lead the convention sales department.
During this time Gary developed and implemented 5 star 5 diamond
service manuals for the convention staff. He worked directly with
the food and beverage, audio visual and several other departments
in order to execute proper lines of communication to enhance existing
service levels.
In 1998, Gary joined Steve Wynn's Mirage Resort Group as a National
Sales Manager. He contracted some of the largest tradeshow room
blocks and worked closely with hotel executives in strengthening
booking terms and conditions and maximizing convention space and
sales revenue.
In early 2000 Gary resigned his position with Mirage Resorts and
spent the first half of 2000 implementing a business plan along
with his partner Andrew Pepper. Pinnacle Marketing Group, Inc. was
formed and under that Corporation, opened the doors of Corporate
Golf Planner in late 2000. |
